  • How do I become a member?

    Click on JOIN US. Fill in our registration form. Choose a password that allows you to enter the member's area, where you can register online for events.

  • Can I attend an event before joining Social Mix?

    Absolutely! As a trial member you may attend any Social Mix event at member pricing before membership is due. Guests are welcome!

  • Why do people join?

    Some members are new to the city, have just gotten out of a relationship or are too busy to meet others. Social Mix provides the perfect opportunity to expand your network of friends and maintain an active social calendar. It's easy! Sign up, show up and have fun!

  • I don't know anyone, how can I come alone?

    Most of our members join by themselves. Usually because the majority of their friends are busy or don’t share the same interests. We have a very friendly group of members that will go out of their way to make you feel welcome. And with new members joining every day, you will not be the only new member at an event.

  • What kind of events do you do?

    The whole idea is for you to try something NEW! Here are some examples: Biking, ATV's, Paintball, Zoo, Bingo, Pool, Bowling, Brunch, Canoeing, Pub and Trivia nights, Dancing, Archery, Darts, Dining, Golf, Hiking, Horseback Riding, Ice Skating, Kayaking, Dance Lessons, Museums, Road Trips, Spectator Sports, Theatre, Walks, Weekend Trips, and much more!

  • How do I pay for events?

    Most events will be prepaid - it will list the due date and you have time to send a cheque. Please make sure you UNRSVP for an event if you can't make it as many events fill up quickly and it will allow another member to take your spot. Some events will be 'pay as you go'.

  • What age are your members?

    Our members are in their 20's, 30's, 40's, 50's and 60's.

  • How much is membership?

    1 Month - £20.00
    6 Months - £75.00
    1 Year - £100.00 (only £8.33 per month)

    Membership can be made by cheque payable to Social Mix.
