Event Details
Join us for a lovely walk along the promenade.
We'll meet near Crosby swimming pool and the Marine Lake and walk along the Prom. Dependant on tides, we can walk on the beach and take a close look at Antony Gormley statues.
This is a 5 mile walk to Hightown where we can either turn around and walk back, or take the train back to Waterloo station - they run every 15 mins. Alternatively for a shorter walk, we can walk from the lake to the Coastguard Station just past Blundellsands and back.
Bring some lunch with you although there is ice cream trucks along the route but I'm not sure what else.
This is a great walk for bird watching enthusiasts. |
