This is one of my favourite events. Yes it can be very cold but if you wrap up warm and have good sense of humour you will be in for a treat.
Bangor on Dee race course is over looked by the Welsh hills so is very open but has great views.
Fee paid in advance, pay your own ticket there - £8.

Bangor-on-Dee has a unique character, exemplified by the fact that this is the only Racecourse in the country that doesn´t have a Grandstand! No worries on the viewing front though as the main grass viewing bank provides a natural amphitheatre to the racing action. The much improved permanent facilities also provide ample resources for all of our racegoers.
Wrap up warm and join us for a day at Bangor Races.
Bring everything with you to make your day enjoyable...ie. blankets, chairs, umbrellas (hopefully NOT), picnic etc....and a good spirit and some luck!

Gates open at 12.00 + times of first race is approx 2pm. We;ll sit around my car but hopefully another car or two will get there early aswell so we can secure a bigger area.
